Today was an awesome day! I went hiking with Brian, then bought plush stuffing for my Halloween costume at Joann's (yes, the stuffing is Made in USA!), met up with a friend for dinner at Urth Caffe, and now am working on a top secret project for Brian.
Aside from spending time with enjoyable people, and eating tasty food, two happy perks were still being able to wear a favorite shirt (I'm so relieved my "Recycle Hugs" shirt is Made in USA...hugs are essential to my health!), and seeing that Joann's sells American flags that are Made in USA. I know it's silly to write, but I've heard of American flags, and many patriotic items not Made in USA. Like the 2012 US Olympic uniforms Made in China. Hmmm. Well, if you want to boast a patriotic spirit by buying a Made in USA flag, Joann's has an assortment of sizes!
NOTE: If you are so inspired to make your own hair ties like mine, be sure you make it big enough! Mines kind of tight, and it doesn't stretch as much as normal hair ties.
