Happy St. Paddy's Day! Well, I got pinched today, because I woke up in non-green Made in USA pajamas. However, I quickly rectified the situation by sporting my not so spiffy, 8 year old green tank top (in photo) and my new green jacket. Brian got double pinched back!
Onto new Made in USA news! From dress making to car parts to produce, it was quite the American made weekend. Brian and I went to visit the Other Anna and her boyfriend up north, and he is quite the car enthusiast. While us gals sewed (and talked), Brian found a nice box of Made in USA motor oil in the garage. Also, I learned of GrimmSpeed, a car parts company that manufactures the USA (http://www.grimmspeed.com/). Then later today Brian and I went to Sprouts and in addition to discovering an emporium of healthy, lower priced foods ($34 for a whole load of groceries), I also saw tomatoes with a proud American flag label reading, "Grown in USA"!
I may not be Irish, but I guess I'm lucky to have good friends, family, boyfriend, and so many Made in USA finds!
Hello! I'm a 30 year old gal with a liking for doing year long projects. I've done a year without any form of chocolate, a year without coffee shops, and 5 years without gum (and I LOVE chocolate, coffee shops, and gum)! A year wearing only American Made should be the hardest yet, though*.
