Being back from Vegas, I'm taking the rest of the week off as my first ever "staycation". I know I'm not far into it, but I can confidently say that they are awesome! Sometimes trips make me crazy and more stressed!
Anywho, I went to the dentist, and got a hair cut today. At the dentist office, they give you a goodie bag upon leaving with a toothbrush, dental floss, etc. As I was about to do this blog, I thought I'd check quickly to confirm the items are Made in USA. I couldn't imagine such small items being imported. However, it turns out that the Colgate toothbrush was Made in Switzerland, the dental floss was Made in China, but thankfully the Colgate toothpaste was Made in USA. Phew! I can't believe we're importing toothbrushes from the watch capital of the world. I would think that with European labor prices and trans-Atlantic freight that's more expensive than the toothbrush is worth.
On another note, at Target I was buying tin foil, and gladly noted that Reynolds foil is proudly Made in USA. Yes!
Hello! I'm a 30 year old gal with a liking for doing year long projects. I've done a year without any form of chocolate, a year without coffee shops, and 5 years without gum (and I LOVE chocolate, coffee shops, and gum)! A year wearing only American Made should be the hardest yet, though*.
