Today I painted my dining table, and worked on reupholstering the matching chairs. I have no idea how to reupholster, so the first attempt was kinda disastrous, and landed in the trash. However, it's better that I try myself, Made in USA, than going out and buying an imported set of chairs, right? Right (I hope). Cheaper, too, unless I ruin my chairs, then have to buy new ones.
Anywho, today I got some photos from Amber taken at Pier 39 and the Golden Gate Bridge gift shop in San Francisco. Apparently, the whole contents of the bridge gift shop are Made in USA! Awesome!!! It's great to know that even such popular and well-traveled attractions are supporting the cause, too! Besides, I always find it weird to buy a tourist gift made in a different country.
Hello! I'm a 30 year old gal with a liking for doing year long projects. I've done a year without any form of chocolate, a year without coffee shops, and 5 years without gum (and I LOVE chocolate, coffee shops, and gum)! A year wearing only American Made should be the hardest yet, though*.
