Cute bicycle shirt, Made in North Carolina!
Brian stole my American made boots tonight! How mean! After scampering after him in my Fruit of the Loom socks (undoubtedly wearing the soles thin), and chasing Brian around cars, I finally got my boots back! Stealing my favorite pair of American-made shoes is a good way to get me to stick around, though.
Anywho, at work today, a coworker told me about Will.I.Am's (a rapper), eco friendly clothing line, Ekocycle, made of recycled Coke bottles. We thought it might be American made, because who's going to ship used Coke bottles to China to have them made into clothes? I didn't find the answer, but while I was Googling that info, I stumbled into Fair Indigo, which has fair trade clothing. Some is Made in USA, and much of it is cute (and fairly made)! I've got my eye on some items, like this bicycle shirt! http://www.fairindigo.com/product_info.php/products_id/4682
Hello! I'm a 30 year old gal with a liking for doing year long projects. I've done a year without any form of chocolate, a year without coffee shops, and 5 years without gum (and I LOVE chocolate, coffee shops, and gum)! A year wearing only American Made should be the hardest yet, though*.
