NOTES FROM THE DAY
1. This is a short blog because I've been finishing making my mom's top secret Made in USA (Made in my house) birthday present! It's a tricky project but I'm pleased that for once I had all the supplies to make the gift. Will post a picture once she's seen it! Don't want her peeking here.
2. While really hungry at work today, I was standing aimlessly in our back room eating cold stir-fry veggies, when I looked into my Rubbermaid brand "Tupperware", and saw that embossed into the bottom of the plastic was "Made in USA". I got the set at Target a few years ago. Made me feel like a patriotic snacker!
3. Brian told me about a Kickstarter project for bike-powered USB chargers. The company will be opening a new manufacturing facility in California. Sweet! I'll try and find it!
Hello! I'm a 30 year old gal with a liking for doing year long projects. I've done a year without any form of chocolate, a year without coffee shops, and 5 years without gum (and I LOVE chocolate, coffee shops, and gum)! A year wearing only American Made should be the hardest yet, though*.
