After a pre-Cinco de Mayo lunch catered by El Pollo Loco at work, I decided to zap on my pedometer app, and briskly walk to get the blood flowing again, and absorb some Vitamin D. After exhausting the "business park" area, I circled back through our neighboring shopping center where I stumbled into Wal-Mart.
Now, since age 18, I've had a sense that Wal-Mart treats employees badly, and the company is generally toxic to the world economy+people. However, today convenience and research curiosity got the best of me, so I decided to check out the Wal-Mart Garden Center for Made in USA product.
Lo and behold, I found a garden swing, pots and pots, and a chaise lounge. Mainly the big and/or heavy items were American-made, but I was still pleased with the findings.
Hello! I'm a 30 year old gal with a liking for doing year long projects. I've done a year without any form of chocolate, a year without coffee shops, and 5 years without gum (and I LOVE chocolate, coffee shops, and gum)! A year wearing only American Made should be the hardest yet, though*.
