Finally! A Mother's Day with my mom! After a tasty brunch, we went to the Century City mall for family shopping! Like yesterday, I set out with the intention of not really shopping or looking. However, after a few false starts at stores like BCBG, H&M, and Madewell (all made in China, or Southeast Asia) my sister-in-law and I found Cusp. Neither of us had heard of Cusp, but it looks like Anthropologie, and won my interest as soon as I saw their candy jar full of American made undies.
In addition to the undies, there was Made in USA clothing by Splendid, and Ella Moss, as well as brands I never heard of like Velvet (which has a velvet tag...awesome!). In the end, I didn't get anything because of over-spending on recent American-made shopping extravaganzas. However, I was really impressed by their USA selection, and plan to go back when my bank account gets happy again.
PS. My mom found an American-made skirt by INC at Macy's.

Hello! I'm a 30 year old gal with a liking for doing year long projects. I've done a year without any form of chocolate, a year without coffee shops, and 5 years without gum (and I LOVE chocolate, coffee shops, and gum)! A year wearing only American Made should be the hardest yet, though*.
