So today at Fabric Town USA in Ventura, I went shopping with the Other Anna to try and find a nice base pattern for my made in USA wedding dress. Though I was alarmed by how few nice dress patterns there were, we did eventually find a good one that I will able to work with to hopefully make a rad dress! Don't get me wrong, Fabric Town is awesome, but they just need some better dress patterns.
Though I am making my dress, I feel conflicted because some of the supplies I bought, like boning and built in bra cups are not made in USA. However, my dress will be made here...by me!
Upon checking out, I saw there were Made in USA hair ties too!
Hello! I'm a 30 year old gal with a liking for doing year long projects. I've done a year without any form of chocolate, a year without coffee shops, and 5 years without gum (and I LOVE chocolate, coffee shops, and gum)! A year wearing only American Made should be the hardest yet, though*.
