Ok, so I know this isn't a Made in USA update per se, but today a diamond fell of my spiffy new American-made ring, Sparkles (yes, she has a name). Thankfully, my fiancee is a take action kind of guy, and he held an emergency fix-it meeting immediately at the jewelers. While we waited for the repair, a lady walked in pushing a metal wire cart, wearing neon orange gloves and sunglasses (right before closing time).
Brian, his mom, and I were all loitering around the jewelry while the jeweler was obliviously tending to Sparkles in back. She starts asking us about the jewelry, meanwhile reaching into the big black plastic bag attached to her cart. I sort of thought she was reaching for a gun, and might try to hold up the store while Sparkles was getting fixed (and take Sparkles! oh no). In the end, she just left, saying she'd come back. It freaked me out, and I hope if she does go back to the store, it's to get some recyclables or something innocuous, if not annoying. Let's home I'm just being paranoid!
On a brighter note, Made in USA Sparkles is all better!
Hello! I'm a 30 year old gal with a liking for doing year long projects. I've done a year without any form of chocolate, a year without coffee shops, and 5 years without gum (and I LOVE chocolate, coffee shops, and gum)! A year wearing only American Made should be the hardest yet, though*.
