After one month and two days of being engaged, I have already grown tired of hearing the term "bridal" anything! I do not understand why people think that all women want a wedding complete with a coordinator, prop-heavy engagement photos, and petite sun-dried tomato horderves.
After viewing a venue today instead of work (slacker!), I funneled my frustration into my Made in USA wedding dress project. I've been procrastinating because it's a scary and daunting project, but if I don't start sewing now, there won't be time to fix any mistakes! Can't show any progress pix because Mr. Fiancee might get a glimpse! Uh-oh!
Oh, also, when I got home my Easy Spirit brand "Made in USA" flats from shoebuy.com were waiting. Though they said Made in USA on the site, they were labeled "Made in China" on the actual shoes. Hmmm...time for another return. Oh well, this happened once before. Maybe I'll include my website business card with the shoes with an explanation.
PS. I don't judge anyone who does want a package wedding. Different strokes for different folks!
Hello! I'm a 30 year old gal with a liking for doing year long projects. I've done a year without any form of chocolate, a year without coffee shops, and 5 years without gum (and I LOVE chocolate, coffee shops, and gum)! A year wearing only American Made should be the hardest yet, though*.
