I was sooo jazzed today! While at Target in nesting mode, I was buying random house stuff when I decided it was high time to buy a real ironing board. My board right now is one of those 2.5 ft. long crummy IKEA fold ups that's only 3 inches off the floor. I figured if I'm gonna bother making a wedding dress, I better have a real board so all the fabric doesn't re-wrinkle while dragging on the ground. Imagine my delight when I'm eying my future board, and I see that embossed into the metal it says "Made in USA"! It was only $25 too! Yes!!!!!
Also, at the fabric store, I noticed that pretty much all the interfacing (right photo) is Made in USA. I bought some for my dress!
Hello! I'm a 30 year old gal with a liking for doing year long projects. I've done a year without any form of chocolate, a year without coffee shops, and 5 years without gum (and I LOVE chocolate, coffee shops, and gum)! A year wearing only American Made should be the hardest yet, though*.
