While in San Diego today, I was waiting for Brian to finish his gadgetry business, so I decided to dedicate myself to the USA cause for a few hours. I drove to the "fancy" mall in San Diego and scoured stores looking for American made labels! Delightedly, I found a TON. Macy's was brimming with Made in USA, as was Charlotte Russe. Anthropologie had some items, but not a ton. Many items at Macy's I wanted, but due to my upcoming work resignation, I decided $80 jackets were not a life necessity. On the flip side, at Charlotte Russe, everything was cheap, but not so flattering (on me). Anywho, I bought nothing, but saw much. Made in USA clothing is very much alive!
Hello! I'm a 30 year old gal with a liking for doing year long projects. I've done a year without any form of chocolate, a year without coffee shops, and 5 years without gum (and I LOVE chocolate, coffee shops, and gum)! A year wearing only American Made should be the hardest yet, though*.
