So, today after a day of loooong travelling, sitting in airports and planes, I went to my new apartment to sign my lease. While my nice little suitcase sat in the car, I listened to the apartment managers lecture me about how bed bugs usually travel on suitcases, and spread when people place their suitcases on their beds, and the bugs are released into the bed from the luggage. Yikes! It was quite gross, really, and I sincerely hope that they are not festering in my Made in USA suitcase, and into my American made clothing stashed inside!!!
On a brighter note, with some time to kill, and a hankering for a magazine, I scoped out the Missoula, MT airport gift shop. Crammed in with charming chocolates called "Moose Poop", and "PETA" (People Enjoying Tasty Animals) bumper stickers, I saw this quaint collection of tourquoise jewelry, all Made in USA. Not too shabby, right?
Hello! I'm a 30 year old gal with a liking for doing year long projects. I've done a year without any form of chocolate, a year without coffee shops, and 5 years without gum (and I LOVE chocolate, coffee shops, and gum)! A year wearing only American Made should be the hardest yet, though*.
