Sorry for the half-y post of yesterday! I will finish it now. Basically Brian and I were at San Diego’s Fashion Valley Mall, and we’re cruising past a store window and I see a sign that says “Made in the US of A”. WELL. When I see that I have to stop! Lo and behold it was the Lucky Brand store. I’ve noticed more and more lately that they have less Made in USA, so I was excited to see the sign. Turns out, they have a very large assortment of American made women’s jeans in various styles taking up the prime store front area. My BFF loves Lucky Brand jeans because they are so flattering. True, they are pricey ($129), but for the record, their non-American made jeans are just as pricey.
Anywho, it was great to see that line blow-out, and I hope to get a pair soon! After that, Brian and I headed up to the Container Store. While we were there we ran into a TON of American made items. Sure there were the usual suspects, such as boxes, and laundry baskets, but then they had WATER BOTTLES, and gadget accessories too that are Made in USA! I was sooo excited!
Hello! I'm a 30 year old gal with a liking for doing year long projects. I've done a year without any form of chocolate, a year without coffee shops, and 5 years without gum (and I LOVE chocolate, coffee shops, and gum)! A year wearing only American Made should be the hardest yet, though*.
