So, yesterday Brian and I had a quality-time night at Souplantation and mall-meandering in Hacienda Heights. If I don't get our quality time I start feeling so sad, like my heart is weeping or moping or something.
As we're cruising the mall, we stopped into various stores, which thankfully Brian was ok with! After smelling all the scents at Bath and Body Works, we stopped into a store called "Iron Puppy", full of inexpensive cute clothes. Many many were American made. In fact, they had a whole rack of long comfy skirts for only $9.99. I was so tempted! There were party dresses, skirts and more!
After that we shivered back to the parking lot, and even though he's totally the gadget fiend in the relationship, I wanted to go see the new iPhones. Well, instead of the iPhone, we saw the new MotoX, which is assembled in the USA! Like the only phone out there that is!
Brian wanted to rain on my parade, so he was looking up statistics about how all the parts inside the phone are made overseas. But you know what? I don't care! Assembling something here is still better than making the whole thing overseas! It's a step in the right direction. So there. :-p
Hello! I'm a 30 year old gal with a liking for doing year long projects. I've done a year without any form of chocolate, a year without coffee shops, and 5 years without gum (and I LOVE chocolate, coffee shops, and gum)! A year wearing only American Made should be the hardest yet, though*.
