Just so y'all know, my goal to wear entirely Made in USA clothing/accessories for the wedding was nearly entirely successful. Here's the list:
-My mom and I made my rainbow dress!
-My mom crafted my earrings and necklace.
-I made my "veil" (that rainbow ribbon contraption hanging down my back).
-Shoes were Made in Oregon from a company named Soft Star, and they were super comfy, and good for any day wear.
-My mini socks are Made in USA from Target.
- Hanky Panky undies (rainbow to match my dress!).
My only problem was the........BRA! Arg. I tried so hard to find a Made in USA strapless bra that worked with my dress. Unfortunately, the first I ordered was $50 from "Only Hearts", and it stretched too tight over the boobies. I was willing to over look that, but it was also visible from the back. Next, I turned to Amazon, and found a "Made in USA" bustier that upon arrival I discovered was Made in China. Returned it shall be. Anywho, in the end I shamefully ventured to Victoria's Secret and bought a stick-on bra. It worked out ok, but don't worry, that's the ONLY non-Made in USA thing I've bought and worn since I started the Made in USA project, and I don't plan on any other discrepencies.
Glad to be back!
